best Panther kit of all time?

I'm really getting into the Panther tank and been doing alot of research on it. I'm wondering what people think about which offering is the best Panther kit ever made, mainly in terms of outright accuracy and completeness of the kit. Since i am already working on what is collectively agreeed to be the worst Panther (Tamiya 35065), i'd like to know which is generally regarded as the best. Any Ausf is fine.

los tros dragonos! G (zimmerit-one and steelwheel-one) and D with zimm.... the "expensive ones"
i love my G but for such great model those rubber tracks are just crime
i don't get it why they give plastic tracks with D and not with G too

Hi

In my opinion, and one shared by a few others, this is the best 1/35th scale kit of the Panther - Dragon Panther G Kit No 6268.

http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.co...gon/dr6268.htm

I like it mainly because you can build it out the box without resorting to loads of aftermarket stuff like you'd have to with the Tamiya kits and it can be made without having to show a zimmerit coating which I hate the look of.

It's a little hard to find. I brought mine second hand off of Ebay and it was still wrapped in all the bags etc.

yea, smart kits are amazing... but i guess to many old school builders OOB building is just not "the real thing" and paying that much and still spending a lot of money for PE..
i've had jagpanther early with those smart tracks and must say that those are great, i just wish all of their tanks had those not rubber ones =/
and i absolutely hate dragon's tow cables... those are just stüpid

Thumbs up

I think the best Panther kit is the one that's finished as they all have their ups and downs.
