Think I found my site for armor modeling

Hello everyone,
I'm new here...been getting back into my plastic modeling, and really falling hard for armor subjects again. I've been scouring the web in search of a good site, and while there are many, I think this is the one for me. While I've seen really quality builds in all the forums, and I'm sure many members here are members at other sites, this forum just seems to fit what I'm looking for.
I'm into all genres of modeling, but as of late it's been more sci-fi and armor. Good to be here! Please check out my albums for photos of my work.

Ok, I dont have permissions yet, so I'll post some pics here.

I'm a T-34 guy at heart...I love Russian armor. Currently I have 2 t-34s, 1/35...a Tamiya "hardedge" version, and I'm working on a rendition of an STZ T-34/76 inspired by Adam Wilder's "Naked Desperation" vigniette. Using a Maquette kit which is a challenge to say the least. I've also got an old Tamiya KV-1.

There are a few US armor subjects I like, namely the M4 Sherman, early versions preferred, and to my mind no collection is complete without an M1 Abrams and an M109. Won a best-in-class with my Paladin! I'm also redoing an Italeri M41 Bulldog, testing some new weathering techniques (no photos)

My current project other than the STZ T-34 is a Pz. Kpfw. IV, Dragon kit #6315. I've never been too turned on my German armor, but I'm warming up to it. The Dragon kit is impressive. Thinking of making this panzer KO, and putting it in a Stalingrad piece with the STZ. Dont hold your breath...it could take years!

"OK" you can relax now that you have "permissions".

Your vBench has be set so that you can post photos there.

Welcome to planetarmor and thank you for posting photos of your armor builds with you first couple of posts.

Very nice work displayed here and looking forward to seeing what next you have to share on planetarmor.

Thank you.

Thanks!

Thank you for getting my vBench set up Alex. I've never seen a forum format like this. Sorry if I seemed impatient...just excited to see some stuff and show my own stuff. Thanks again!

You bet

Will do Alex....that pretty much makes up my armor collection at this point, but I do have an M41, and as I said I'm working on a Dragon Pz4. I'm also awaiting the arrival of a Tamiya Panther (the old 35065 kit...lets see if I can turn it into something good) and a 1/16 Trumpeter T-34. I'll get some more detailed pics and get them up here soon.
