Trumpeter KV-1 1942 model, heavy cast turret

I was actually looking for the Ekrani, but this was good. Now I just need some info on KV-1s.

and a digital camera that works.

If you can get you hands on the Tankograd KV-1 Soviet Special series #2002 (early variants) and #2003 (late variants) that would be a good start. Last I checked they were available at Squadron. Lots of good pics and drawings. The Trumpeter KV series are some of the finest models out there. Thay really did an out standing job on that series of models. To bad they fell kinda short in finishing the series by leaving out the KV-IS and KV-85 (would've been nice to see a SU also).
