Winter (M10) Wolverine

Hello friends,

Well, it certainly has been quite a while since I've posted here. Let's see if we can do something about that right now.

Here are a few images from a project that I'm just finishing with. The kit is 1/48 Tamiya with Hauler PE while 2 of the figures are MIG with the third being from The Bodi. Not a lot of experience with snow and winter white wash...so a good deal of trial and ERROR along the way.

Here is the photo that captured my imagination that I patterned the white wash from. I liked the look of the hand applied "stripes", but achieving that look! Well..... ????

thanks for looking - comments and critiques welcomed.

Thanks,
Rick

Very cool. What was your process for the whitewash? Was it a modification of a hairspray technique?

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

1/48th WoW!

Rick,

1st of all, thank you for posting you latest "cool" project.

That there is some fantastic work, If I may say so.

I am a big fan of the US Tank Destroyers in WW2 and you have certainly 'touched' my heart with this M-10. I celebrate along with you with a great build, "Winter (M10) Wolverine.

Looking forward to more of you builds here on planetarmor.
thanks,

AWD

Hi Andy,

Hairspray - yes, modifications???? It's basic hairspray techniques for the most part. Toward that latter stages I added white back in certain areas with a brush to bring up the "sparkle" factor a little. That's it.
