Stug III ausf. G (Tamiya 1/35)

Hi planeteers,

My last project is an educational project. My aim in this project is to improve my control on colors. And my guide and inspiration will be the wonderful Stug III G of Sergiusz Peczek. Of course it is impossible to achieve what he did exactly but I'll try to keep my path as close as his. And I'll try my modifications during painting and weathering..

The kit is tamiya Stug III ausf. G. I've used modelkasten tracks and eduard PE set for detailing.

I've used Tamiya's fine surface primer first.

I've used the colors seen on the last photo.I've mixed buff and dark yellow in equal proportions and then white and clear is added. I've increased the ratio of buff and white where I wanted lighter tones.

Thank you very much for looking. All comments and advices are more than wellcome..

Always nice to see a StuG get built up and done right in the paint department, looking forward to seeing more on this one.

I has been some time since my last post. After losing control on color,I've repainted the kit. There were two major mistakes I've made. One was one of the oil colors I've chosen for filters and the second was not being able to guess that varnish will make the color darker. So I've decided to throw the kit away, but thansuggested to continue by trying some camo..So here is the progress:

First I've repainted the base color:

Than I've painted the camouflage colors:
