Thumbs up sherman flail tank

hi all,
well its been a long time in the making, but personally I think its worth it, please excuse the photos, these are the first ones taken with my new toy, a digi camera.
I couldnt get an M4A4, so I converted the new DML firefly , by changing the turret, and tweeking the engine access doors at the rear of the vehicle.
The figure is a mix and mash of arms, resin head, british infantry torso, and mulliput, first crack at doing this.
All comments most welcome

Malc, boy that looks like quite the project...very ambitious. I really like the worn-off dust effect you did on the arms of the flail - very convincing!

Well, doesn't look bad in its dusty appearance!
Just one issue: the figure on the turret seems too small...

Very nice, and as the others said especially the dusty look.
Who is the flail by, or is that scratch ?

Dutsy it sure is. Maybe it bit too dusty for me. I'd try and add some scuffing and chipping of the dust layer. But overall, a very good looking.
Just a guess on the flail bits: Legend (judging from the mantlet cover), or otherwise Resicast?!?!

Cool Beautiful, but what the hey??

Malcolm,

Beautiful model...this is excellent weathering my friend...

BUT.....what the hell are those things hangin off the rear deck?

Are those mine detectors?

Really nice, the dust looks like it was coming off the beach at Normandy!!

I always thought those things on the back were lights for vehicles behind to follow the cleared path, but are they ?
