Churchill 3 inch Gun Carrier

Well, Gents, another oddball from Panzerserra....

Since I saw this destroyer, I always wanted to build one...
You must already have noticed that my kits are, at least, different....

I buy, in eBay, the conversion kit from IMA, of this beast...
plus a Tamiya´s Churchill, equals a new project !!!!

Lets go: testing the casamate of the destroyer:

Well..it´s a not easy job...
shadded areas w´ll be cut :

and..

testing the casamate:

(arrows: details removed...)

Ufa !! After drying the perspiration of the excitement, we continued the construction...ehehheh
re-building:

and..

Wow....

Using the IMA´s form:

and more surgeries....

Continuing...
the lower hull is finished !!!

I discovered that my exhaust tubes came broken...I had to re-do with metal tubes...and I increased some grill, also...

The kit gun tube, in resin, it´s a shame...I ordered to do a new one, in brass, in a workshop...(The needs makes the toad to jump!!! Brazilian dictation)

See the increases in my kit:

1- brass tube - Panzerserra scratch...
2- triangle detail - aluminium foil - Panzerserra
3- Aiming device- welded cooper wire - Panzerserra
4- Periscopes - Tamiya´s canibalized
5- Grabs - Panzerserra
6, 7 and 8 - Fuel Tank - Tamiya´s Matilda and cooper wire
9- Fender - aluminium foil - Panzerserra
10- Grill detail - plasticard - Panzerserra
11- Grill - Panzerserra
12- Hatch detail - plasticard - Panzerserra scratch...

See...my life is no easy ...ehheheheh

and jerry-can detail:

Ufa !!!

The beast ready for paint:

Great work Marcos!! You sure love those little known tanks from around the world. As before, you did a superb job on this one. Keep the good work. I would like to see many more!
