Almost done with the turret. Just need to add a weld around the top.

Painted with MrColor Soviet Green (1) Early WWII. Looks kinda day-glo. Hopefully it will be tamed under weathering.

I've been hitting this with Microsol again and again. The silvering is slowly going away, but you can still see some, especially from certain angles.

If you're interested in making a Republican tank from this kit, don't add the text, and just use the hammer & sickle and 21, in the location noted in the instructions. If you want to make the "Viva el Ejercito del Centro" tank, you need after market decals. The ones HobbyBoss supplied are just wrong. I don't know if the Francoist tank decals are accurate.

My crappy paint job, hopefully will look better with weathering. Supposedly this is a radiator, but I think it should work for any judges with a flashlight. Wood tool handles still need painting.

You can give a try with Gloss varnish before applying decals.
Apply it where decal will be placed...

So I decided to try and get paint behind the decals, and I think it worked, and won't be noticeable after weathering. Or, maybe I'll have to strip it and try again. We'll see.

This pic is a little blurry. Sorry.
