DML M4 Sherman Normandy+ waiding trunks
Hey many of you saw my last post where i wanted to put an M4A2 as an omah beach setting and promply got corrected but now i am back to haunt more sherman professors as i have now gotten a true M4 sherman and am going to try and take the waiding trunks off of academy sherman and put them on my M4

here ar some pictures as it is frssh out of the box no more than ten minutes old

any ideas and help will help

nice looking kit have not seen it before now,but you must always do a bit of web pic hunting. looks like you got an m4 75mm from the 37th bat.4th armored div tonto commanded by captain bill dwights 34th tanks. all i can recall for now without cracken the books good luck

great project! I wanna follow your work.
I think it wont be good to use the Academy Trunks. They should be different to the M4, but Im not sure.......

ok looks like the vehicals you can do out of the box are on page 36 concord publications The Sherman at war [2] us army Eto43-45. The decals for cannon ball 70th tank battalion are cool and i am looking at the pic as i type this vehical got bogged down on utah on landing day.But she was recoverd that same day and put into action sans her waiding trunks.

i have test fitted the waiding trunks and they look good enough and fit preatty good

yeah i plan on pairing it up with this kit on a beach diorama:

but majorchuck i have been haveing trouble with my internet and cant serch for things bu i remeber a picture of a sherman on omaha with a big 10 ppaintind on the rear trunk can you give me some info on that tank

ok i finally figured out which tank to build the tank with the outlined infantry at the rear is the one i plan to build
one of the men at the rear is a photographer and he took the second photo from behind that tank

befor i start inot this too much which transmission cover was used the bolted or the cast

ok i have done some work on the turret and here it is alongwith some road wheels and sproket but there is also some direction stuff that i need clarifactation with

now the dircetions can some one pleast tell me what to do because i have no clue what or which to do for these and how i should atatch the waiding trunks

can anyone tell me wheter to do F1,F2,or F3 on the directions also what to do about the are intake ducts on the side

also i wont post for about a week because im going to see family for about a week
