Picture SCRATCHBUILT 1/35 PANZERKAMPFWAGEN VI. TIGER 1.
An exact duplicate of the Panzerkampfwagen VI. Famously known as the Tiger 1. I built this model using various types of sheet metal. From 14,16,18,20,22 gauge. Welding with a tig welder. The gun barrel I've built it from a 1/2 inch alluminum rod. I've used a drill press as a mill. The suspension works like the real deal. The shafts are made from a 1/8 metal rod. Bent and filled. The only parts that I did use already built, where the tracks from Friulmodel, the Bosch light and the sprockets. The rest is hand built. If you are looking for a challenge. This is it!! There is nothing better than to have a 1/35 Tiger built all in metal. This model will be remote controlled. I will also built from scratch. The gear box for the drive sprockets. Although I will be using the electric motor from Faulhaber. So stay tuned for more pictures and as I progress with this project.Also see the video of this all metal Tiger 1 in 1/35 scale at;

Picture 1/35 all metal r/c tank called " THE ARK 1 ".
A 1/35 scale all metal remote control tank. This 1/35 tank is all custom built. It is my own design. Built from 14,16,18,20,22 gauge sheet metals. The sides are 1/8 alluminum strips. There are no plastics what so ever. This tank will be named as " EL ARCA" It means in latin "The Ark". This project will take a lot of work. You have to be very experienced on how to operate a Tig, Mig, Stick welders. Also how to operate a mill and a lathe machine. Also how to use the acetylene and plasma cutters. A metal band saw and many other
tools as well.Before you start anything. Draw up your squematics first. Then you can continue to build the metal parts. As I am bulding this 1/35 metal tank. I am writting down all the procedures for my book. A book that will show anyone how to build a 1/35 tank in your own home. So stay tuned for more videos as I progress. Have fun building 1/35 r/c tanks. See the video of this remote control all metal tank called "The 1/35 Ark 1" at
